Not durable: Feeding and watering device

Held up a few hay flakes well but didn't last long. My goats were eventually able to break it down by eating the hay. The ropes broke after a few weeks.

Pros
  • special offer
Cons
  • old

Slow feeding made easy!

I put a few flakes or so in this net and hang it up at night for my horse to chew at night. He loves it and it keeps his hay off the ground and off the sand. After a month of regular use, it's like new.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Ok

Synthetic "rope " is strong but needs smaller holes to slow my horse.

The plastic didn't irritate the lips as much as the other products we've bought, but the large holes did little to slow that down. Look for a strong but soft "mesh" with openings about 2 inches or less.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Very good! suitable for feeding

my girl is a bit dirty and I don't think she has ever used a net. But she's come to terms with it, and big holes work better for her impatient self, let alone wasted hay. My only complaint was that a couple of the ring ends weren't plugged in, but that wasn't a surprise since it's his fault. This was also easy to fix.

Pros
  • the best
Cons
  • some flaws

Works great for my older horse!

I used to use a slow feed net for my older mare, she got ulcers on her nose trying to pull it out of the hay. I received my large hole oak blossom hay net yesterday and it works great, it fits my snout between the holes and I no longer have to worry about my nose soreness!

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • For old

Didn't last. for Horses

I'm not saying it's just the product... Horses can be tough in hay nets. But one bet didn't last even a day, and the other lasted a few more before another mare ruined it irrevocably. I don't know if smaller mesh holes would be better or not, but I think I'll go with sturdy wall mounted feeders.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Great bag for the price.

Bought for my two goats. At first I just dumped hay on the ground and the goats ruined everything. I was looking for a cheap hanging bag and this one looked perfect! I was worried it wouldn't last long because goats chew a lot. And I was right, two days later they were chewing through the rope and the bag was on the floor. So you get what you pay for! I've just pinned and rehung the bag and my goats haven't taken it off yet! Thought I wish the holes were a little smaller.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

It almost killed my daughter's horse!

Let me start by saying that we live on a farm. We have many animals. We recently weaned my daughter's pony and as she is in a separate paddock she decided to buy one to give her some hay as she was wasting her pony playing with it and letting it fall on the ground throw. This hay trough sat in the paddock for about a week and one day we went out and the pony wrapped both legs with this masonry on the ground. She was fine the day before. So I give it 10/10 for durability. Worst case scenario, if
