It's spot on.

Having used all types of combs in my shed I really prefer this one. It's just the right weight. It's a hard rubber, so not too brittle. Removes dirt and loose hair very well and most importantly my horse seems to like it too.

Comfortable to hold

When I don't need the softest comb or other hair care products, I use them. This comes closest to my old weeder, which I have owned for almost 40 years. I have one for each horse. This is a tougher curry comb than the others, so the most sensitive horses will prefer something softer. But it's great for removing loose hair and dirt. The strap is canvas I believe and is held in place by metal clasps. The "teeth" on it are a different shape than my old one, but it works and is comfortable to hold.

Dogs love it too. Ok our dogs can

We have used blades, metal toothbrushes and everything in between. Metal brushes (with a bunch of thin wires) irritate our giant Pyrenees dog. He's like Velcro that picks up whatever's in the yard on his fur. But this "brush" is like a good line. Our dog is stretchy and will tolerate brushing for as long as you would like. He removes debris from his fur, such as pine needles and grass clippings. It is easy to remove dirt from it, and if you want to wash it, the material is suitable for that.

Best Groom Type

Overall Impression: I like this kind of "old" comb and it's a very good option. Much more efficient than the new styles. This is the type of curry I have used since I was young for over 45 years and in my opinion is still the most effective and gentle curry to use on a horse. They also like sensitive horses because the pressure exerted can be easily controlled with a kind of curry. Pros: 1. Well done2. Very beautiful, soft but durable canvas handle3. Flexible, you can "bend" it by hand by…

🐴 says: Definitely!

I bought this last October and already love it but now that my horse is shedding his winter coat I can say this is a MUST HAVE curry comb. This is a very well made product that fits comfortably in my hand and pulls out an incredible amount of hair with little effort! Just gently move in circular motions or short strokes and see how much hair comes out without much effort. It also works great on dry mud and mud as my big guy who is in the pasture 24/7 takes a mud bath daily. He feels very…
