Great product! Super easy installation. Came with everything and good directions. I've been working almost non-stop for 6 months with no problems. An integrated hygrostat ensures the ideal relative humidity. Highly recommended!

Premium humidifier at an affordable price, ideal for growing medium-sized plants. Did he hook it up to my reverse osmosis system so he doesn't notice clogged gentlemen as stated in other reviews. I noticed a small amount of dripping due to condensation, but that's not a big issue. Update: Make sure it's reverse osmosis or gentlemen will be calcium clogged within a month or two!

Well, I'll reiterate many of the points made by the previous reviewers. The device humidifies reliably. The hygrostat is not very accurate. YOU MUST USE REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER. Any other option will leave a white, chalky residue all over your room after a few days. After switching to a reverse osmosis source, this problem disappeared. I've only been using the device for a few weeks but so far so good!

Too expensive not to be able to replace parts. The control board is rusty after a year of use - built-in filters do not prevent the formation of calcium carbide on the encrusted heating pad. The fan controller connection is also rusted and failed on the control board - very expensive to replace the unit every year - I wouldn't recommend touting that they don't have customer support to resolve issues.

I set the humidity regulator (dial) to 30%. Check the unit the next morning and the humidity in the room was 85%. Excessive humidity has shorted out my 315w LEC ballast. I had to replace it with a new one. I bought a Revain Inkbird humidistat (great device) to control a Horticat u80. The device works great now because I control it with Inkbird. I sent an email to the manufacturer and described my problem. You never answered! Shame on you! BEWARE!

I have not used reverse osmosis water and now 8 months later it needs repair #2 and 3. I had one built in the filter. like that used for ice machines. It wasn't enough to stop the build up that destroys the fog heads after 3-4 months of use. Replacement heads cost about $150. I added a 1 micron filter. Still not enough. The fog heads still work, but one of the fan wires has come loose, likely due to limescale corrosion, which still permeates. This led to an air backlog, so that now not only the

We have 4 of these units that work 24/7 and they are problematic! We use a company recommended in-line filter and a commercial large 3-stage city water filtration system and it still doesn't remove white powdery limescale on anything in the room. Scale/calcium in hard water will not be removed by any filter other than reverse osmosis. The cool mist design blows scale/scale in the water around the room, you will start noticing fine white powdered limescale on filters and other items. Google this
