Very pretty, especially for the price!

I didn't think everything would turn out so well. So cheap for a brass hammer, the handle feels good in your hand. The epoxy feels very durable, fits well on the head, perfect for those hard to reach areas.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Everything ok

Does the job it was designed for.

Slightly rough surface but the fit is secure and feels very comfortable in the hand. Personally, I wish it weighed 1/2 lb more to allow for a clean one-shot hit on annealed chromoly steel.

Pros
  • Copper hammer head weighs approximately 1 pound and the handle is approximately 6 inches long.
Cons
  • Discontinued

Amazing quality for the price

Specially designed for punching soft and medium metals. Fit, workmanship and design are perfect for me and my purpose. Durability is an estimate at this point, but after a few training sessions it seems unshakable no matter what I put it through.

Pros
  • Brass hammers are better for punching metal than steel hammers as they prevent double indentation and increase die life.
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Small hammer fits die set

This was the first part of 3 items I bought for printing letters and numbers. A steel plate and set of stamps complete the kit, which is used to mark the keys of many locks used in the shop. The hammer is only used for this purpose. I got over it but didn't have time to fully use the kit as I intended. Since I have a large collection of tools, often with specialty tools designed for only one purpose, I'll take a look ahead and give the little guy a thumbs up. If it's not up to my standards by…

Pros
  • Solid brass head, flat and hemispherical ends for proper and good impact; Short, rubberized handle for a comfortable grip and precise shot.
Cons
  • No Instructions
