Hose works great, no whistling

Hose works great, no whistling. It was the perfect length to walk from the fire pit to the hidden propane tank outside the patio.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Long and high quality.

I like the length. Hooking up to a 100lb tank isn't easy, seems to have to go from 1/2 to 3/8 of the flare. It's so hard to find a piece. Gotta get some.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Goes with

Poor quality, the male part started to leak after 3 months

Poor quality, the male part started to leak after 3 months between the lock nut and the loose fitting around the hose. The hose was connected to a 125 gallon propane tank to the trailer, the hose wouldn't move and the trailer wouldn't move, it just started leaking one day and lost about 40 gallons of propane.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No automatic

Will not attach to a propane tank

Bought a month and a half ago in anticipation of spring to burn cattails. I went to the garage to attach the tank but it didn't fit! Now my returns window is closed and I'm stuck here! The end that attaches to the tank is incorrect and will not pinch when screwed in.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works great so far

I used this to make propane hose from a 100 lb propane tank to my van. So far everything has worked perfectly, no leaks. Some people complained that he was tough. It's just as stiff as I would expect from a 350psi hose. It's not too heavy for my application at all. I've been using it for 2 months now, I'll update if it starts leaking or anything else happens to it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

Leaks at the end of the hose in the tank

Leak tested with soapy water before use. Leaks due to the swivel at the end of the tank. You don't actually need to use sealant to hold it in place, the brass flare fittings should seal when tightened. The hose gets very stiff in cold weather, probably a PVC hose. Lie down on a hot sunny day to get rid of the creases from your bag's zipper, they shouldn't kink the tube to fit in a long bag. It's much better to curl up in a circle.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Low repairability

Great Importance in Welding Equipment

I bought another 25 foot propane extension hose 1/4" male NPT and 1/4" female swivel ball connector and spent a week and four shops, to get the adapter to fit on the side of the female bullet nothing worked. I ended up sending the hose back. I bought this Hot Max 25ft hose with 1/4 male NPT and 1/4" female thread. To my surprise, it came with an adapter (#28100 $8.90) for 1/4" to 1/4" female thread connection. NPT .GREAT promotion from the seller I have now been able to hook up my propane…

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Some Little Stuff

Nice hose but a bit stiff

I used this on a high pressure line for a generator that only runs occasionally to keep the hose from being pressurized day in and day out. The high quality hose I was thinking of is more than triple the price. If this thing was going to be used more often, I would choose it. If such a hose ruptures under pressure, it can pose a serious hazard, especially if it is in front of the regulator and in the tank at full pressure and flow. For a weed burner or similar, this should be fine. Check it…

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Previous 3rd Host, the first two failed catastrophically and equally when the compression fitting on the end of the hose separated from the hose under pressure. create extreme fire hazards. The problem is that the main member flexes against the fitting and the lack of additional reinforcement to ensure the fitting stays in line with the hose allows for stress. Recommend anyone buying this immediately reinforces both ends to prevent bending in an area that may be stressed. Always, always, always

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Pinched
