Mega Track 🏎️ Pack for Hot Wheels Review

If you don't have 40ft of space, this path is a bit pointless. I ordered it knowing there were no curves, but I didn't know you can't make curves even if you fix it. The stair turns 90 degrees by two 45 degree turns, I couldn't get off the entire stair. I then used a few sections of the straight track to make his Hot Wheels Drag Strip more fun and it was pretty cool. But it's really a pointless set with no kinks whatsoever. Come on Hot Wheels! Why don't you sell an extra track with curves!?

My daughter got a Hot Wheels set for her birthday and loved playing with me. It only had 3 pieces of track and you really couldn't do anything with it other than a loop in the package. I've searched the internet for a range of tracks and found a great deal. I have many fond memories of laying a long strip at my childhood home and this track does not disappoint. It has much stronger clips than the white link slider I grew up with, which is nice. Holes in the rail help keep it in place. They work

Our 4 year old grandson is a Hot Wheels fanatic. He has a few different kits that are standalone tracks, Hot Wheel style, but he really likes to make his own adjustments. He learned to put them on a table and on the floor so he could race two cars against each other. Our grandkids are close enough to visit regularly now, so it's time to stock up on stuff to keep them occupied. (If you were selling energy to grandparents, I'd stock up on that, too.) We've bought a few small cars already, but thought a race track would be a great addition. It was and will be. Today we played with the track for hours, used pillows to create hills, made a tunnel out of a tissue box and then used a box to store the tunnel, tried two or more cars at once - and of course crashes…

For the price I think this is a great track set! 40 feet is a long way! We were hoping to combine this with a high speed corner to get down our stairs (see video and photos) and we've had more than enough of that! My only complaint is that I want the tracks to connect without the extra detail (blue thing). It's just a hassle to stow away all the loose parts when you take it apart. Obviously I didn't pay attention to this when I bought it because if I had done just a little math I would have found that a 40 foot box is made up of 40+ pieces of 1 foot and smaller sections of the route has connections. . The way these tracks connect is much better than the old set we have, but it also means they are not compatible with the old slot-style track.
