I highly recommend this impressive little amp.

I'm really impressed with this little amp. The sound is amazing and the price is even more amazing. We need to look at the rest of the line of these amps. The variety of sounds is impressive. I have to say it's a lot more than I expected when I ordered it. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • 18V power supply (included) for big headroom
Cons
  • Compatibility

Requires amplification - Home Audio

This is a great training amp but the input is too bass heavy. The tone gets muddy very quickly, despite excellent crunch/clarity in the upper mids. However, if you give it a boost or EQ to reduce the bass, it becomes a monster. Great modern metal sound. It's a lot of fun to train and play around at home.

Pros
  • FX Loop for connecting additional effects; 4-16 ohm compatible speaker output
Cons
  • Not sure

No more skepticism about home audio

No more skepticism. I was hesitant for this amp based on some of the reviews but I couldn't be happier. Super authentic ENGL tones coming from this tiny thing. I use a pedalboard or a Boss GT100 with this amp and it blows my mind. I also bought the Heart Attack amp and the tones you can get from them. Just great. This one actually has slightly better performance than Heart Attack. The two amps really sound like they're trying to imitate it.

Pros
  • Pure 5W solid state output Sounds and responses like a tube amp with organic and harmonic sound
Cons
  • So far, so good

Small brick metal machine

It's about the size of a Boss pedal, but it packs my 412 box into one pretty impressive volume. Can keep up with the drummer alone. This little thing has features that are outside of its price range. Full Bass/Mid/Treb EQ and separate Drive and Volume controls. The volume is very transparent in relation to the sound because it is solid. Sounds the same at any volume. Gain ranges from heavy crunching to extreme wheezing and leading. Cleanliness doesn't matter, it would be a shame if you evenโ€ฆ

Skeptical No More Amplifier

Skeptical No More. I was hesitant for this amp based on some of the reviews but I couldn't be happier. Super authentic ENGL tones coming from this tiny thing. Pros
  • AUX IN and headphone jack with booth simulation for direct connection to an audio interface or speaker system
Cons
  • Good, but not great

It was exactly what I expected.

I was looking for a low watt high gain amp for home practice and this was exactly what I was looking for. I don't usually play clean sounds, I like it when my clean sound is overdriven, I just turn up the gain a bit and it sounds the way I wanted it to, of course the result depends a lot on what pickups you use . There is a slight hum which is more noticeable when the gain is higher, but every amp I have does the same thing due to electrical noise so I can't say it's the amp's fault, overallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 18V power supply (included) for lots of headroom
Cons
  • Compatibility
