As mentioned, to make sure the sensor is grounded I put a ground clamp around the sensor and ran the wire to a known good ground. Luckily I didn't bother installing a pressure gauge as I wanted to make sure it was tight. There were no leaks and absolutely no pressure readings. The mechanical oil pressure gauge with an intermittently sticky dart was reinstalled when it worked.

Very high reading at startup. After the car has been running for a while, the reading drops to zero when idling. After a week of testing, the sensor read nothing more. I bought this gauge along with 2 others - volts and water temp. None of them work properly. I do not recommend these gauges. I ordered and installed Auto Meter gauges after I got fed up with them. Spend your money and buy quality pressure gauges, not these. Autometer works as intended. Show more credible numbers while working.

The sensor or possibly the device is showing accurate readings. When I turn the fan on and off, the display changes the pressure reading, and when I turn on the headlights, that changes too. Well what can I say. Had to be modified to install a censor on my Chevy 383 engine. After I plugged it in, I'm really not sure, but I think so. Sensor looks great and works well. I'm currently having an electrical issue that is causing inaccurate readings, but I believe it's my wiring and not the sensor itself. It's a bit bright at night and doesn't have a dimming option, it also only updates the value once a second so it doesn't doesn't feel as smooth or as real-time as a dial gauge.
