The stool is very durable, lightweight and portable. But the paneling began to chip off almost immediately. I can swipe over it with a stain marker if it gets worse, but that's a big disadvantage.

This is just what I needed to get into a higher bed! BUT due to the easy instructions we had to restart the first step 3 times! Read all instructions carefully and read them twice before you begin.

A great step stool that is also very comfortable to sit on when needed for other projects. I keep it in my pantry to reach higher shelves but found it for various other uses and other parts of the house/garage. Very happy with the purchase.

Big little step to my very high bed. My only warning about this is that if you don't pin him to the bed and step on the first step up, he'll try to roll over due to too much floor weight. But if you use your arms to balance your weight as you lift yourself against the bed, this won't happen. Otherwise, getting up on my bed is a big help.

We opened the box, laid out the parts to assemble the step stool and in about 45 minutes we had a great looking step stool. The process was relatively easy, but it will work better if someone who is used to using tools and following instructions well actually puts it together. It's so good we don't want to use it as a step stool.
