Houdini Zippity 2-Step Corkscrew with Foil Cutter - Easy Wine Opening in Multicolor Review

I bought this unit to replace an identical unit that was just worn out. I'm very happy with its ease of use, but the magnet of this new magnet isn't as strong as the previous one, so it doesn't stick to my fridge that well. No big deal, just a minor annoyance.

When the goods arrived, the magnet was not glued to the corkscrew body. There wasn't even a hint that it was glued. I haven't used it and will probably return it. I know I can put a drop of superglue on it, but why? Needless to say, I cannot recommend this product.

Hilarious bad. Both the original I received and the replacement had the same issues - both times the magnet fell out of the back almost immediately upon receipt, and even after I stuck it on it wasn't strong enough to stop the corkscrew from slipping to prevent. to the ground on any object I tried to attach it to. Really terrible product.

Works great as a bottle opener and seems sturdy enough, but I bought this because I wanted to keep it in the fridge so white wine would be easier to access. Well the first time I used it the magnet broke off the bottle opener. Also, the magnet is very weak and barely holds the opener. If you walk past him or even look at him while he's standing on the fridge, he'll fall.

I finally have a corkscrew that my husband can easily find. Easy to put on the fridge and easily accessible. BUT! The magnet was not glued so could not be attached to the fridge. Pulled out my handy dandy super glue stick and did the repair. So I can't adequately discuss the strength at the moment, although it looks amazing. Very soft. Yes, I could send it back, but hey, for the price of a drop of glue, my dreams could come true and I'd never hear "Honey, where's the corkscrew?" again.
