I bought this for my 23-year-old son. The display and the clock itself is larger than i realized it was going to be which is fine but it would be especially good for an older person or someone who didn't see as well. It's not thick so still sits nice on the night stand. It has 2 USB ports on the face of the clock which is actually why i bought it. That is convenient. This is a basic alarm clock with charger ports and a snooze. The digital read out is large and very readable. There is no volume control on the alarm. This clock does not serve as a radio. All of that is fine.The one flaw with this clock is that the power cord is a bit short. It really needs to sit on a low side table near the bed and a power outlet. Otherwise, it was just what I was looking for.

For the money I feel I’ve gotten good value. Yea it is plastic and comes across as cheap, but ya didn’t pay much for it either. USB ports work as advertised but the numbers are weak in strong lighting, but good enough in the dark. Frankly don’t want a bright light in my bedroom. I have power issues and the battery backup works, so I don’t have to reset the clock when I lose power. Setting the time was easy.

I bought this alarm clock for two of the bedrooms in our vacation home rental. Turns out they are a great customer satisfier as the clock brightness can be adjusted and the two USB ports are conveniently located on the front face of the clock. It is a great no-frills option to more expensive models. The size is small enough to not take up much room on the nightstand and the time display us big enough to be easily seen. Recommend this alarm clock to others!

Overall good alarm clock. It is exactly as described. No radio. Just the time and an alarm. That's what I wanted. I love the large SNOOZE button on top. I've used the USB ports to charge my phone. It works great. Alarm buzz is loud enough to wake me up. I like that I can dim the time. I have it on dim. I like the red light.much better than green/yellow.less bright. Update as of November 2: The product was still defective and was thrown in the garbage since digits were not readable after less than one month of purchase. However, customer service contacted me and offered to send a new clock or give me a full refund. I have to say that it is rare to find customer service so responsive and willing to take responsibility for their products. The time changed this week-end so I proceeded to change the clock on my nightstand. After a very exasperating hour of pushing this and that with no change in the time, I gave up. Bought this for my 12 yr old. He is learning to manage his time between getting up and heading to school now that I have to leave a little earlier to commute to work. Perfect to wake him up and the large display let's him know the time easily so he doesn't have to keep checking (or not checking) his phone and is ready to go on time. He likes the fact that he can charge his phone and iPad with it too.

Works fine as an alarm clock, however I purchased this to use as a usb charger and it doesn’t any more. It did at first, however now only the bottom USB port works. I needed it because it had two thou I may just have received a defective one.Update:They contacted me and gave me a refund on product even thou return date was passed. I purchased this for our guest bedroom. I chose this clock because of the built-in USB ports. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the block that plugs into the wall sticks out so far that I can't push the nightstand even close to the wall. Otherwise the display is large & bright. One other thing to know is that the battery backup uses 2 AAA batteries unlike most clocks that use 9V. No issue, just a fact.

This would be a great clock, except it is fast. It can’t keep a consistent time, instead it gains several minutes over the course of a couple weeks.EDIT 03/21/2020: HOUSBAY sent a free replacement and it is working flawlessly. Thanks for the great service and standing behind your product!
