Bought this a while ago and it works great. It's something I don't use often, but it comes in handy for any cook. This has been used a few times since I received it (2 times) and today 4/21/2020 was used for the 3rd time. and just stopped working, i paid for this item thinking i would have it for at least a few years. sad amazon just sad

I'm disappointed. To be honest, I bought it more because of the color. Suitable for my kitchen. Unfortunately, this is only so-so confusing. Power is clearly not enough. The picture shows what small pieces it can make. It was homemade tomato soup that I made. I used whole braised tomatoes and the smallest pieces that could be mixed were the size of a match head.

But first, make sure you're working on something fluid enough. The blade is very small and moves very quickly, so it's better for grinding a clumpy liquid into a silky paste than grinding solids into a liquid all at once. I use it to make a fried fat and vegetable sauce. If you're making a smoothie, add the liquid and a small amount of solids first, reserving the slurry so the blades can soak up the chunks.

Terrible product. The blender was unable to blend anything other than liquids. He can hardly mix eggs and spices. It took 15 minutes to mix the eggs to the right consistency for the scrambled eggs. He couldn't whip cream into soft peaks. He couldn't mix berries with liquid. He couldn't make milkshakes. With chocolate milk, the syrup stayed at the bottom. We tried to use constantly and force bursts. Liquids tended to mix and splatter everywhere. Difficult to clean as spills seep into every nook…

I bought this when my Cuisinart smart stick broke after years of use. Decided not to spend that much on a product that would only last a few years. I sent it back almost immediately but I needed it. I use it at least once or twice a week for immersion soups. And I learned from the Cusinart crash not to use it for anything else.
