Description of 🔪 Howard Products 128 oz Butcher Block Conditioner (BBC128) - Enhanced SEO

Butcher Block Conditioner is a revitalizing blend of genuine beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax (hardest natural wax available), and pure USP Food Grade Mineral Oil that is tasteless, odorless, and will never go rancid. Ideal for conditioning and maintaining all wooden butcher blocks, cutting boards, wooden bowls, and utensils. The penetrating quality of food-grade mineral oil along with the water-resistant traits of beeswax and carnauba wax helps to rejuvenate the wood, prevent drying, and even repair knife marks in the wood. Regular use of the Conditioner helps season and protect the wood by keeping the mineral oil in and the moisture out. The mineral oil used in Butcher Block Conditioner exceeds U.S. FDA regulations for direct and indirect contact with food. Can be used on butcher block countertops to achieve a natural looking satin wax finish. Made in USA with strict quality controls.

butcher block best for household cleaning

I use it for my kitchen butcher block. European walnut from Home Depot. After weekly treatments it sealed really well and retained a rich dark color in the meat block.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • high price

Works great and smells great

I built an original and real meat block. It's not hollow, but solid solid maple like it was in the early 1900's. This refinement is recommended and food-safe. It looks good and finishes and also protects the wood.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • For pensioners

Works perfectly! for wood conditioners, waxes and oils

I use this on my hardwood counters. I like to start with a basic mineral or board oil that absorbs a little faster. Then I'm done with it. After it has been absorbed, buff with a cloth to make it smooth, soft and non-greasy. It works great and looks good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Good product for houseware

Very good for my table. I use this table in the garage when I cook. It is heavily used. It is easy to apply, absorbs well and lasts a long time. Happy and will order more. I'm going to try this on some of my garden tool handles. I think it will work very well there too.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Embarrassing

Great quality, price and Grammy kitchen nostalgia

I use a lot because I just got 2 new large cutting boards so I'm guessing the gallon size! It also has a wonderful beeswax honey smell that I didn't get from the comparable Boos oil. I don't know why the smell is so pleasant. but this. in the nostalgic style of Grammy cuisine.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Frequency

Perfect for meat block countertops!

Love love love this product! We recently renovated our kitchen and got a walnut countertop. After some research we settled on the Howard Butcher Block Conditioner. It works great and leaves the wood as it should be with no discoloration. I use it for cutting boards and wooden utensils. It has a very subtle honey aroma and is not overpowering at all. I recommend it 150%!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

A must for protecting wooden worktops

Only treated our new wooden worktops 9 times with mineral oil and still had to be very careful with liquids that got on them. Then used this product and got good results. Beeswax and carnauba are important. Liquids collect on the surface and do not penetrate the wood. Even the red wine was purifying. So far we have only treated our counters once, but we will repeat the treatment for increased protection.

Pros
  • also understandable old-fashioned
Cons
  • Some small things

Great value for homeware

Just install the new 36" x 73" butcher block. At first I had another well-known brand called Miners. , oil and cream conditioner in two separate products but the cream container was very small and expensive for the amount you got. A friend recommended it to me and I have to say I'm very satisfied. Goes very nicely and a little goes a long way

Pros
  • Can be used on butcher block countertops for a natural satin wax look
Cons
  • New competitors available
