Extremely thin, breaks after 1-2 uses. This would give them about 3 stars. There are 1500 so a one off would be understandable. However, they also tear my hair out when I take them out. I have fine hair so this may not be the case with coarser hair, but I'd be surprised if heavier, thicker hair didn't break it right away. Icing on the cake? The seller does not offer returns.

I needed a small hair tie for myself. I wanted something small for my fine hair and something that wouldn't "stick" to my hair like a rubber band. As soon as it showed up in my hair, I noticed it was gone. It collapsed and ended up somewhere in the house. I have cats so this was unacceptable as I am now afraid my cats will find and swallow it. The packaging it came in was cracked and opened. I had to get most of the hair ties out of the Revain box and off the table/floor where I opened them. There are 1500 of them so it was a little annoying. Other than that, they work well. They are a good large size and I stretched one as far as I could to test its strength. They can stretch a lot and won't tear if you don't force them. Perfect transparent chewing gum I would say.

I don't know why my transparent ones are different than the colored ones (I bought both). My cleaning tapes break during use or break during the day when in my hair. My colored straps are awesome and designed to be used over and over again. I feel like Transparency worked great in 2019 but then started to break in 2020 and is now well outside the return window.
