I focused on the performance of the display when I ordered it for my wife's home office and was a little confused when the computer recognized it as a valid audio output, but there was no sound. This model does not come with speakers, but some computers may still recognize USB-C/Displayport/HDMI as a usable output. Although the picture quality etc. is excellent.

No complaints other than a constant high-pitched noise when the monitor is on. It increases in intensity with white images and brightness intensity. Very pushy. For this reason I return.

So many problems with the USB3. Only the HP cable worked, but then broke. There were no replacements available anywhere, no other third-party cable worked without an under-current error and the risk of damaging the display. The new driver did not solve the problem. Then set the screen to constant horizontal flicker. HP monitors: pos. Never.

I bought 2 precision monitors. Unfortunately, one of them appeared to be defective and less than 30 days after receipt, the screen began to burn in with horizontal black lines. Even after turning off and unplugging the monitor, the problem persisted. I tried replacing the product with Aventis System (seller) but to no avail. They did not accept my request for a replacement even though I was within policy and under warranty. Terrible service.

Set up this monitor in January 2020 even though it was purchased in late 2018. I literally kept it brand new in the box until ready to use. The problem is that I have to constantly maneuver the display's power cord to make it work with my laptop. There is definitely a problem, be it just the power cord or the monitor itself. Not happy with it!

I now have two of these monitors and have completed the WFH setup. The screen is very nice, I like rotating the monitor and the fact that the monitor charges my MacBook Pro! I work as a software developer and needed a monitor that can act as a docking station. I am more than satisfied with the picture quality and the features. Just plug in my 16" MacBook Pro and it's up and running. I used to use 4K monitors and was tired (my Asus published work had horrible glow and horrible blacks). Was considering an LG 27" ultra-sharp 5k and didn't see the need and could take a second HP Z27 and have some money left over.

Perfect fit for my MacBook Pro! Nice 4K display, more pixels than my old 1080p dual monitor. I love that the monitor has multiple USB ports replacing my USB hub. A cable connecting the monitor provides my laptop with audio, video and power - it's like a docking station and monitor in one. The stand is great too, tool-free assembly, tilt/swivel/height adjustment.

I use this HP Z27 monitor as a second display connected to my MacBook Pro. That works great. The picture is great, the stand is adjustable and very solid, and the USB-C connection, which charges my Macbook, is extremely convenient. No complaints - I am very happy with this purchase.

It's not easy in many ways. I have no idea what's going on, but it seems like the screen suddenly goes black every 5-10 seconds while using the monitor with my Mac Mini. I bought a Samsung 32 inch curved monitor before I bought it. The Samsung was too big (like a front row in a theatre) and the small pixel count obstructed my eyesight. Bigger definitely wasn't better. I quickly came back instead of buying this one. The text and images are so crisp and worth the price. The only thing I didn't really notice was the lack of speakers. I bought two of these monitors for my wife and I to connect our MacBooks to. Both monitors stopped working at the same time, requiring a lot of research and calls to HP hoping for a fix. A computer monitor should be an easy activity. Something is clearly wrong with these units.

Bought in September and was happy with the monitor until I started noticing serious LCD burn-in. Today I opened my calendar to fill in my timesheet. It was open less than 5 minutes and left a severe burn on the screen. Those burns will go away, but seriously? This is bad? If you're doing any kind of multimedia editing, you won't see this screen. It's hardly worth what I paid for it and I can see the price has gone up a lot since I bought it.
