    NOT HP COMPLIANT

    Used today and the print is smeared and blurry. Not a very good product. Not sure if it's been in stock too long, but the return window is closed for exchanges or refunds. Wouldn't buy here again.

    Very expensive print with normal quality from the original manufacturer cartridge.

    HP Laser OE toner cartridges have reached such a price that a twin pack is more than I paid for my laser printer. The original printers have lost their legibility. They are produced in an edition of 1,500 copies, about 100 copies before that begin stripes or omissions of letters. I replaced them with the original cartridges which I bought for $27. I'm on the first one so far and have over 2000 copies and it still prints clear. HP says I have voided my warranty. So what, I can buy a new laser…

    Toner cartridges are (mostly) toner cartridges.

    I have been using this HP LaserJet P1006 cartridge in a SOHO environment for about four years. Each cartridge contains approximately 1200 pages (approximately 10 months at my usage level). After installation in the LaserJet P1006, the 100% ink indicator shows approximately 1,500 pages remaining. Obviously the text/image density of what you end up printing will determine actual usage over time. Once you've decided on your printer hardware, your only choice is to use the manufacturer's cartridges

    Something's wrong in Kansas.

    I ordered such a box for our company. 6 out of 8 were defective. The first thing that struck me about these toners is that they come in OLD HP boxes. This either tells me that these toners are very old or repackaged. The toners look like genuine HP toners and have not been opened. But if anyone doesn't know for sure, it's red alert if they come in old boxes that were used 3-5 years ago. Damaged toner left a gray cast on entire pages of paper. I tried them in different printers and did the same…

    HP cartridge cost benefit

    My jury is still out. About 6 months ago I bought a new HP P1006 printer for a bargain price ($80) from a local office supply chain store. I have decided to get rid of my HP inkjet printer because of the cost of HP ink cartridges and the inconsistent quality of other cheaper cartridges. I was happy with the print quality of the HP P1006, although I am nonetheless confident in HP's page printing claims for this printer and cartridge.     Black toner is perfect, we print a lot so it's great not having to buy a new toner every month or so. 5 Stars.
