I buy a printer for work and it always works to the end. I have not tried a fake because of course I need a quality print for my work. This is a long lasting cartridge and I feel like my boss's money is worth it. My last purchase was April 20, 2016 and my second purchase was August 14, 2017. Of course I can't say you'll get the same life, but it's also a working printer and fax machine.

Great cartridge! This bad boy lasts forever, I end up buying it about once a year. I'm a 3rd grade teacher, my husband is a college professor, and we have one kid in middle school and one kid in high school, so yeah, we type a lot. Every time I order this I think, oops! It's a lot of money but looking back on the last time I ordered it I can't believe it's been a year. Save yourself the guilt and just order, it's worth it!

High price = HP product but also high quality product. Buy it when you need it and we need it. It's sad that you can almost buy a new ink printer for the price to replace all the ink in your old printer. Of course, the ink that comes with a new printer only lasts for a few hundred pages. So we keep buying this product as we are not fans of refill ink

After trying one of the aftermarket cartridges I went back to original HP cartridges. Are they more expensive? Definitive. BUT, for that higher price you get quality control and I don't feel like I'm wasting paper with the issues I had with the fake. I don't know how accurate my page count will be, but after some time in IT I can say that I've found that getting genuine HP toner is a lot better than saving money and having your printouts as to get garbage.

HP toner works better! I use both inkjet and laser printers. Each has features that make it suitable for certain projects over others.
