We bought a refurbished printer because we thought it would last. NO. Worked for about 6 months, after that the black ink stopped working. We tried everything and the printer just stopped printing in black. Do not buy. Nothing helps now, stay away.

When I buy a product like an inkjet printer, I am one of those people who believe that the INK CARTRIDGES fully correspond to the main function of the purchased item! lol. Didn't come with ink cartridges, for those who don't speak sarcasm.

Bought two of these. Printer 1 ran out of black ink before a replacement arrived. I figured I would just use a cartridge to print from a printer that hasn't been opened yet 2. No luck. Somehow they encode the supplied cartridges and refuse to work on the printer 1. Who sits down and invents this nonsense?

Worst printer I have ever bought and I have had quite a few home and office printers. From day one this printer never worked. Never did any fine print, they said it must have ink (check the date, should be covered under warranty). My HP Office Jet Pro 6978 printer started jamming about three months after installation. I use it at home occasionally and only for a few copies at a time. I used 20, 24, card, and photo HP Color Lock copy paper as recommended. It jammed and crumpled the paper, and when I tried to make a copy it was just frustrating. I find many things unacceptable, but I still accept having at least one printer available.1. Top indented copies come out skewed on the page 100% of the time2. Copies fed in from above for scanning will not accept the item and I often have to scan multiple sheets. Just by lifting the lid and placing a copy on the screen, you can scan items. This allows only one sheet to be used at a time3. I keep getting a "Printer Needs Attention" pop-up with a sound and a notification in the bottom right…

So far I am very happy with the printer. The print quality is excellent! It's very easy to set up the printer, I actually connected the ethernet directly to my router because I had problems with my old printer going to sleep and the wifi dropping out and I doubt that will happen with this one, since he is newer but i think its up to me. I'd rather put everything on ethernet if possible and keep wifi for devices that don't have the option :) My only complaint is more about HP than the printer…
