There is no DVD player installed, so the customer needs to purchase an external DVD player separately. HP technical support is terrible. The interactive screen reader puts you in a loop and you never get to speak to a representative. Purchase at your own risk.

Do not buy. HP support was frivolous to say the least and referred me to HP sales. simple questions with quick answers, even memory upgrades. which is usually quite simple. turns into a severe headache. HP didn't just make this system irrelevant. but also made future updates almost impossible. That is: graphics cards, which are fairly basic, cannot be added. This is the base processor for the claimed games that offers the best performance. The only problem. They cannot use their full potential.

This is a stripped down device with no CD/Video drive and not a plug and play device which also failed to accept my printer but it does have wi-fi capability, the only plus is I don't have a wi-fi enabled printer .

A bit skeptical at first, but I was genuinely impressed. Runs most games well. However, I would recommend upgrading the RAM. It supports up to 32GB in the form of 2 sticks of 16GB 2666MHz. For a starter computer, this is pretty much all you need.

I bought this unit to replace a seven year old HP with Windows 10. The advertising suggests that it has a floppy disk drive. I have found that this is not the case. I would not have bought it if I had known about it. I still use my old block. I have only partially configured this device. I haven't finished setting up this device.

I opened the box and found that I didn't have to assemble it like I had with the other two I had bought from another company. I was so excited to start this and get to work. Amazing customer service and support.

I really like this computer. Setup is very easy and it's pretty much noiseless. This is a big upgrade for my Dell (much quieter). The reduced noise level alone is worth the upgrade in my opinion. Very happy with this computer.

I'm not sure if HP or Windows 11 is to blame, but the computer is practically unusable. After opening any browser, the memory consumption keeps increasing, even if the browser is just on an empty start page. I tried 4 different browsers with the same results. Very frustrating.

I don't like this computer I got for Christmas a few days ago. I can't play anything. I added two rams but nothing happens and just wires lying around. Can someone please help why?

Works at 4GHz! Anyone who's waited for a keypress to do something, eaten a sandwich between hitting enter, got home at 7pm instead of 5pm and waited for something to finish knows what 4GHz is means. I installed a cooler graphics card instead of general graphics and my CAD programs render very quickly and rendering is reduced to button clicks and not bathroom breaks. I added two sticks of Ripjaws RAM to a full 32GB capacity and it zipped right away. Very satisfied.

I bought a Dell two years ago and what a disaster. I couldn't have more than one screen open, I waited over a minute until the login screen got stuck for another 2-3 minutes and the most disgusting. Dell wasn't very interested. A friend suggested HP. Oh what a difference! I was working the other day and counting my open screens. I had 10 open and never missed this HP. It was so easy to set up. Most importantly, it's quick and easy to use and I will never own a Dell again.

As for the HP, it doesn't seem to be as good at getting sound to my monitor as the old Dell. I can't quantify it, but everything else is fine.

I bought this tower because mine was over 10 years old, no longer updated and took 2-2.5 hours to install. It was very frustrating because I work from home. This new tower puts my other tower to shame. It's fast with updates, loading webpages, and everything else. I'm not used to Windows 11 yet, but this system makes it easier for me to learn. Absolutely delighted and a very satisfied customer! Yes I would recommend this to family, friends and anyone looking for a great deal on a great tower!

Used for family home computers. The device does not accept email from bellsouth.net and requires double or triple verification to access most programs.
