💥 HP 501A Q6470A Toner Cartridge: High-Quality Black Toner Supply Review

It's old but works. I was a bit concerned when the box arrived. The packaging was a bit worn and faded as if it had been sitting next to the printer for years. But the quality of the ink and the print is excellent.

The product is broken! The black piece holding the toner label in place was hanging on the back or was broken. Also, there was no strip to tear off to use the toner. Also, once I opened the box, it was NOT the original, unused product! I opened the box and the black pouch that was supposed to be sealed was already open! I do not understand! I ordered an original, non-remanufactured product!

Like most of you, I find toner expensive as hell. I recently ordered regular "remanufactured" toner cartridges for my HP 3550 color laser printer. The color doesn't match cartridges from other manufacturers and two of the four toner powders that spilled all over the inside of my printer made a complete mess. Do yourself a favor and buy new HP supplies for your HP printer. You will not regret it! Stable output and high image quality are not accidental.

As another reviewer said, the photo shows a non-OEM HP cartridge. What we received was a used cartridge with a chipped case and toner smudges all over it, in a pretty box with a label to convince us it's an OEM quality product. This ink cartridge did not load correctly on the first 4 attempts. At the 5th attempt, it was finally recognized as "Original HP cartridge". However, ink drops oozed out on the prints and the entire sheet was covered with a gray haze. I called Tonerize customer service who responded very quickly and promised a refund. This product, while relatively basic, outperforms many of the toners for sale here at Revain and elsewhere. Why? Because it is original and not remade. I'm pro-recycle, eco-friendly, etc., but when you buy this OEM product you get (a) a COMPLETE toner cartridge and (b) the toner color works as it should and doesn't bleed or smudge on non-printed pages.
