Took only a few weeks now HP has discontinued this ink for my NEW printer

I just bought my new HP printer. I've only had it for about a month and ran out of the free trial ink that came with it, so I ordered more or gave it a try. None stocked it, including HP online. I contacted them and they said they no longer make cartridges for my printer. I consider this an outrageous marketing ploy to increase sales of new devices. Now I remember this happening over and over again when I was shopping for our big store. This is a horrible waste of impeccable equipment that must

Size XL didn't last 40 days

I had an old HP printer that used 3 separate color cartridges, photo black and regular black ink. Printing can be 10 pages per week). Bought a HP64XL tri-color cartridge (delivered on the 5th) in Jan 2021 for my HP Envy 7858; here is 02/21/2021 and the color is already dull and uneven! I don't think I even printed 30 pages! $600 a year for ink! I wish I could get my HP7520 fixed, I've had it for 7 years - still printing - but the rollers don't pick up the paper anymore, they're so worn. HP…

shockingly low number of photos printed with this cartridge

I have always used HP products in my HP printers, usually positive. Unfortunately, lately I've noticed that I have very few pictures of cartridges! I replaced the color cartridge on March 8th (I bought the XL) and on March 13th I ran out of ink and my photos are not printing well. This time I almost didn't print any photos. I suspect a defective cartridge. Not only is it a huge disappointment, but $44 for a small number of photos is totally unacceptable.

a dud Inkjet printer Ink

I put a new ink cartridge in my printer that is less than 6 months old and I keep getting error messages. I carefully followed HP's troubleshooting instructions for the error messages, but still couldn't get it to work. I thought it was my printer. Luckily I bought a cartridge from the office store [was on sale] and replaced the broken one. Lo and behold, the printer works. Unfortunately, my Amazon cartridge has expired.

Bought on February 9th expecting to replace the original as it was running low. Finally tried to install on April 6th and after numerous attempts to install got the error message "Please remove and replace cartridge". Just to make sure I didn't do anything wrong, I reinstalled the old cartridge. As a result, I easily bought another replacement in Office Max. This was the first and last time I ordered cartridges online.

XL only prints about 45 photos 4x6

I have an Envy 7858. Bought the XL to print family photos. thought it would be cheaper. So far the image is of good quality, only printed about 45 4x6 photos before it ran out. at about $44 plus tax ink, without photo paper, it costs about $1 per image. If you're printing in bulk, it's cheaper to go to ANY printing service. The price at Costco is 19 cents, in pharmacies about 29 cents. Do the math before you type your own and don't repeat my mistake.
