HP X360 Convertible Touch Screen I3 1005G1 Review

Excellent laptop I really love it but there is a glitch. When an app is playing sound and I decide to close that app, the sound stops working on my entire device and I have to restart my laptop before I can continue with my tasks, which is a major inconvenience. As mentioned, I like this laptop, but due to this shortcoming, I will not recommend it.

Even at the price, it's lower than expected. It might just be my device, but it had a few issues right out of the box. The screen often goes dark. The resolution is under the base. It can usually perform most things, but it gets snapped up quickly. When I scroll the screen it gets so blurry that sometimes I can't see anything. No dimming problems here. It seems to be hit or miss in this model. Things I've found so far: 1. The color looks washed out compared to other laptops and desktops we have. Upon research, this appears to be due to the fact that it only has 6-bit color, not 8-bit. Some people have found it helpful to change the saturation level. I received this 18MAR2 laptop and once I had everything set up the screen dimmed several times within an hour. I didn't really think about it and then took it to work the next day, so I set it up and used it. The screen went black a couple of times while using it, decided not to fix the problem and returned it immediately. I will not deal with the technical issues of a brand new product that I have just received. My biggest complaint when using it: the screen resolution isn't very good at all…

Great computer. I love the Bluetooth audio playing through my Pyle bt 2 two track mixer and setup was surprisingly easy. Compared to my 11e Yoga Lenovo, this one beats it in speed, style and sound.
