The Ravenclaw crest itself is the correct colour: beautiful royal blue. The rest of the mug however. What appears blue in the photos in the item listing is actually a shade of something like lilac grey is which is great if you like that sort of thing, but it's definitely not Ravenclaw, and it's an unfortunate combination with a real part of the Ravenclaw crest, as the crest is correct I'm so happy to give this to another Ravenclaw ! :( So disappointed. :'(

Just for fun background information. I decided to purchase this mug after being officially sorted into the Hufflepuff house in the official Pottermore sorting quiz. It was a moment that confirmed what I already knew about myself, and I had a newfound pride in being a Hufflepuff. Fast forward to when I received this package. After opening the box and taking out the mug, I was very pleased with the vibrant colors and stunningly flawless design. This is everything I was hoping for and more!

This monster jug looks more like a soup jug, but it's genius! The huge size surprised me at first as I missed the size in the description when ordering. All I saw was 9-3/4 on the side and I had to have it! The image of "dark" tea leaves on the bottom of the cup is worrying due to the nature of Grim! However, this mug makes a great coffee mug. I'm also considering finding a 9-3/4 lane before he exits the station. This is a ceramic mug, so be careful not to break it!

I don't blame the mugs for arriving broken (I bought 3) as all 3 come with a 5.5lb Book packed...this is more of a Revain wine than a producer.
