Great for swollen ankles

We bought these ankle boots for my son after realizing that his ankles and legs are too thick for children's socks. They are much easier to put on and the elastic band of the socks does not pinch the legs. Also, he can't just throw them off.

Pros
  • Bought several pairs which are easy to put on
Cons
  • Adorable and soft, but take a size up! My daughter just turned 1 and they were too small, maybe the next size up would fit better.

Ideal for winter: my assessment

LOVE that my little one had trouble taking them off as he is so good at taking his socks off for the winter time and also has traction to keep him in place

Pros
  • Excellent slippers, the only thing is that they get dirty quickly
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with certain skin conditions.

Great fleece booties - check sizing

I have ordered several pairs of fleece lined boots over the years. They fit well for a newborn in a cold Indiana winter, paired with thick socks. They worked with twins and a premature baby. I ordered a 6-12 month old pair for my 4 month old nephew for Christmas but his foot length is 4 1/2 inches and the pair I received was exactly 4 1/2 inches so I had to return them, to order 12-18 . a month size for it to grow into this winter. Hope this helps someone if they have a child close to this…

Pros
  • The booties are soft, do not slip and stay on the child's leg. They leave no traces on the skin. Highly recommended.
Cons
  • Slippery soles increase the risk of falling

Confused about baby size? That can help.

Confused about sizes when it comes to baby sizes? Of course, a size table would be helpful. To give you a general idea of how sizing works, the 2T measures a 6.5 inch outsole and the 3T measures a 7 inch outsole. My son wears 2T clothes from most brands but the 2T slippers are too big. Luckily, the elastic at the back of the ankle keeps the extra fabric on the back of the foot and not the toe, making it less likely to trip. Anti-slip strips are ideal for preventing slipping on hardwood floors…

Great little slippers

I bought them to take us from home to the mountains for the weekend in the warm late summer where it almost froze overnight. DS crawls and travels and needs something to keep its normally bare feet warm! DS 8 months old and his foot size is about 5 inches. I ordered based on other reviews and received 18-24 (he is 22lbs wearing 18 months). They were ridiculously large when I opened the package, but the design of the ankle boots allows the smaller foot to be fully tucked into the sock, and the…

Really warm and well made

We bought these in size 0-6 months for our boy when he was 4 months old. It was very age appropriate. He turned 6 months a few weeks ago and we had to stop using them because they were too tight in the weeks leading up to his 6 month year. Our baby is 91st percentile for height and 45th percentile for weight. WHO chart during our recent visit to the well. My guess is that his size was the reason they didn't fit until he was 6 months old, which is the upper limit for these booties. I have found…
