This is a very good little tripod great for what I need it for, for everything above that the mount that comes with the laser works well and has a magnetic Base IF I have something magnetic to attach to.

Compact yet easily expandable. Quick release clips make it easy to move your legs. I only use a light camera on it and it works well and is stable. The locks hold the platform where I put it. Easy to set up. It was bought for a specific small camera and does the job.

When I took the item out of the box I nearly cut my finger on the raw metal at the bottom of the tripod tube. Upon closer inspection, I found that the flip-tab that tightens the camera's locking screw turned out to be a weak point that could fail. To make matters worse, there was no socket for a screwdriver should the latch fail, so I figured it would do the trick.

My Razer Kiyo webcam and I have always had trouble keeping it on the monitor. This thing screws into the ground and gives Kiyo legs. It's very handy and I love that I can tilt the camera on the table to show people what my fingers are doing. This little tripod makes the Kiyo really easy to use. It's also small and unobtrusive, so I don't have to take it apart when I want to go downstairs to transfer something from my laptop.

I liked the size of the product and it was exactly what I wanted. However; The quick-release bracket is made of thin plastic. I've tried putting a small 12-36x spotting scope on it and using it with some lightweight binoculars as well. The quick release had so much play that the tripod was unusable. I was afraid that the spotting scope would break the quick release mechanism. Probably suitable for a mobile phone or a small camera. Would give 5 stars for everything else if the quick release…

I HAD TO CUT THE HOLDER BECAUSE WHEN I REMOVED THE CAMERA, THE BATTERY AND CARD HOLDER WOULD NOT OPEN DUE TO THE ATTACHMENT OF THE HOLDER TO THE CAMERA. IT IS ALSO DIFFICULT TO PLACE THE CAMERA IN A VERTICAL POSITION BECAUSE THE LOCKING HANDLE IS DIRECTLY UNDER THE LENS AND IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TIGHTEN AND LOOSE. I ordered this tripod after ordering another, cheaper one. When it arrived I liked it so much I ordered another one. This device has all the customization and stability required for desktop video conferencing. The material and workmanship are also very good. All in all, professional quality in a small, lightweight package at an affordable price - what's not to love? I only wish Huepar would also offer a quick release plate as a separate item so I can leave the plate attached to whatever device…
