These are not moisturizing. I added water as directed.

These don't moisturize. I added water per online instructions (there are no instructions in the pack) and two days later the water level barely changed meaning no moisture was added to the air.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was

These are a welcome addition to our home because they are so easy to use. You only feel the bottom bowl of water every day and these stones disperse the moisture in the air. The great thing is that they don't use electricity and work just as well as electric ones. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Works perfectly! in Humidifier

I was skeptical about buying these because of the not so good reviews but they are great! At least that's what everyone in my house thinks. They look like part of the decor. But they work too, so far I've kept them clean (I'm a cleaning freak) and they haven't discolored. Because if I had a heater I would have nosebleeds and breathing problems because the air would be too dry, but since I've had it I haven't had any problems.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Something else

Nice but not what I thought.

My fault for not reading the product description. Not at all what I wanted, they are super cute but not what my plants are for, I thought they were battery powered. no You fill a small black coaster with water and it evaporates through an uncoated white ceramic ball that sits in the coaster. I keep them to myself because they're cute and they're not that expensive, but next time I'll definitely read the product description fully!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I have no particular dislikes for it, everything is fine

Do not work as a humidifier! Just a nickname

It's almost weird. Nice as Nak's nickname, but as far as the actual humidity function part goes, no way! I will just leave both orders as they are so cheap and I have to repackage them all to return them and it's not worth the hassle. It's not really worth working for. It's basically a bowl of water with a round lid. It's completely absurd that it could pass for anything else. Absolutely useless.

  • Free for educational purposes

Great addition to my plant collection

I have a lot of houseplants (>100) and some of my plants that need moisture have really suffered. I have bought several of these kits. 6 of them are in my living room. They must be replenished every 2 days. I have less dry spots around the house where they don't need topping up, but maybe once a week (I say this because I see people saying they don't work, it depends on the environment). My plants have responded very well to this and they are aesthetically pleasing.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I use it to maintain humidity alongside a few small tropical plants that need it. For this purpose it is ideal. The larger one raised the humidity (I'm so very dry in Phoenix) from the high 30s to the high 40s/about 50s, but be aware that it's very local - about 4-5 square feet I think. The smaller one is also effective, but for a slightly smaller area. It could be effective for your bedroom if your head is only a few feet away from where you place it. Overall - great for something like what I…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Poor set

Great Low Tech Humidifier

Simple, low tech humidifiers offer an easy way to add moisture to our homes this winter. The added moisture makes breathing easier and reduces static electricity. I keep the smaller humidifier in the master bedroom and the larger one in the main room. When my husband first saw the design - a hollow white ceramic hemisphere in a shallow dark bowl - he was skeptical, but I'm happy to say it actually works. I just check the water level in the bowl when I water my houseplants and fuzzy cat grass…
