Humminbird 740036 1 MC Mount Cover Review

Does what it's supposed to do - keeps dirt, bugs and moisture out of the connector when the combo sounder is not installed. Does not deflate when towing a boat on a trailer. Seems a bit pricey for a piece of rubberized plastic, but it's a lot cheaper than leaving your fish finder on the boat (to protect the plug) and stealing it.

As a dedicated Hummingbird user, this cover has been on ALL of my quick connect devices. I even recommended Hummingbird to a friend/guide in Homosassa. He also uses this shell. It does an excellent job of protecting compounds from Mother Nature during storage. I recommend this cover and purchase from Revain.com. The prices are always good, as is the delivery.

This is for the small bracket on the plastic cover. I read it as the cover of W Mount. I thought it meant "with" the mountain. It was more expensive than a real mount. I found the item I got for $7 while looking for this plastic cap. I'm sure it will work when fitted, but even the description of the item was wrong, it had actual quantities, not the little piece of plastic I received. I would have bought it for eight dollars but that was a real mistake on my part. Kind of misleading.
