Oh and it's very soft too

Bought this right before I went to Lapland in Finland. We went there at the end of January hoping to photograph the Northern Lights. This means that you are outside for several hours at night when it is below zero or cold. Not only did we spend probably 3 hours or more in one evening watching the incredible Northern Lights, but this muff did everything I hoped it would. I had a large hand warmer here to keep my hands warm. I also kept some camera batteries in it to keep them warm. It worked soโ€ฆ

Once smeared - never be rude

After the hunt I can't live without it! However, it's far from perfect. After 2 hunts, the stitching separated in 2 places near the zipper. Then the strap came off! The seams shouldn't unravel easily. Thanks to the Prime Minister, I got a replacement. I'll reinforce the stitching and this bad boy is ready to go! A cord is simply not enough for the hunting equipment. Throw in a pair of hand warmers and your hands will stay warm on the stand all day. Also, don't buy the heated version. They sentโ€ฆ

Keeps hands warm, but for too long.

Like the other reviewer I find it too long. When you're on the go, the extra length is nice, but most of the time that's when I need it least. When you're seated, the holes point up and towards the bend of your hips, and I find it uncomfortable to stretch my arms in and out (although I have very long arms), and I have to force my arms in to sit comfortably or unlatch it as soon as i get up. Aside from being a minor annoyance, it mostly means I have to move more than necessary when I might haveโ€ฆ

Soft and warm. The haircut is not the best.

Very soft and very warm. While such a clutch would certainly be useful for hunters, I mainly use it to keep my hands warm while my car engine warms up and when pumping up tires on a cold 25 degree morning. (One heating pad is usually enough for one hand most days). This clutch also works well for outdoor sports fields, parades, children's sledding or many other outdoor activities you could name. All in all this is a good heater. So why did I give 4 stars? The stitching on this product is notโ€ฆ

Best investment to keep hands warm during hunting season

This item saved my life this season. For the past 6 Seasons of the Hunter I've tried everything to keep my hands warm. Thick, insulated gloves work for a while, but you don't feel the arc or trigger go down. Thin gloves are good, but pockets still get cold after a few hours. Hand warmers work well, but when used individually in jacket pockets, they may not retain as much heat. I decided to try this thing and after a full season I think: the stitching is excellent. The zippers are of goodโ€ฆ
