Bought for my son. He loves to. The quality is excellent. He has too many books and a laptop, but his backpack survived. worth $

No side pockets for a water bottle...he loves it but we literally have a hook to attach it to the loop so it dangles and swings. I wouldn't understand if I saw it.

Returning this bag. What the seller doesn't show in the camouflage bag picture is a HUGE orange "HURLEY" printed on the top of the bag. Decided to write a review to submit photos for other people to review this bag. I gave 3 stars because the bag is of good quality.

A durable backpack that will keep your skateboard in place while cycling, hiking, etc. Reinforced stitching and multiple layers of material where tape will rub off the front of the bag. The backpack has almost no construction, so there must be something inside to keep the skateboard safe. Also not necessarily a children's backpack. I'm 6 in 1 ft and this backpack is a normal size for me so it might look a bit big on a small child.

My son started kindergarten this year, he was very picky about his "school supplies" and didn't want anything "childish" (his words, not mine) and this backpack was perfect. It's only been used for about 2 months but still looks and feels like new - no issues with zippers or anything and as we all know preschoolers aren't the easiest with their stuff. When my second son starts school soon we will definitely buy him another Hurley backpack!
