Smooth Shifting with Easy Install

The Hurst 3733163 Gear Shift Installation made installing a new shifter assembly easy and hassle-free. The instructions were clear and concise, making the entire process a breeze. Once installed, shifting gears is smooth and effortless. One downside is that the installation requires some disassembly of the vehicle, but it's worth it for the improved performance. Excellent fit for a 1965 GTO.

Installed on a 1965 Pontiac GTO, worked fine, all tightened. And the threaded connection is far superior to the original adjustment type connection. The only downside was the direction you have to face in the photo and it's not quite right but helps. Adjusting the idle was easy, just remember to put the threaded end on the back.

The installation set is well made. Nonetheless .

Installation kit is well made. However, the shifter arms that bolt to the Muncie M20 are for the old style transmission only and if you have a '69 or later transmission you will need to replace them with a larger bore kit. The Muncie M20 69 and newer uses a 3/8-16 bolt to hold the lever in place.
