This pot lid holds up to 2 lids without tipping over and allows moisture to drain from the lid. I also love that you can put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I would like to warn you that the small white silicone feet are not glued into the base and can fall out. I found 1 of these at the bottom of my dishwasher. It's easy to just put it back in the hole. I was nervous about putting my large 12" glass lids on this stand, but when I place the lid with handle between the "stands" it becomes very stable. The little feet prevent it from slipping. "There seems to be enough room for a pen of any shape or size.
