This pot lid holds up to 2 lids without tipping over and allows moisture to drain from the lid. I also love that you can put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I would like to warn you that the small white silicone feet are not glued into the base and can fall out. I found 1 of these at the bottom of my dishwasher. It's easy to just put it back in the hole. Now I check each pad after washing the lid stand and another one didn't fall out. The heat from the "hot lid" doesn't affect the plastic, which is really light, but I wouldn't put it on the stove next to a stovetop as it will melt near an open flame. I love mine so much I gave them away. The only problem is that some colors cost more than the cheapest. There are similar ones from other sellers but they are smaller which may not work.
