Whoever designed this product is a genius! I eat boiled eggs every day, salt (light salt), bite off, and then salt again, plus they just rolled in the bowl I ate from. I was looking for one of those egg cups that Europeans eat eggs out of and came across this one. Bonus - it comes with a little mini salt shaker that fits in - love it. Thanks very much!

Design needs revision. The inner salt shaker requires its own snap-on lid. The holes in the top should now line up with the nipples in the egg tray lid. This is not the right attitude. Moisture still clogs the shaking holes, and salt gets wet and clogs. Also, you cannot take out the egg when the shaker is installed. Whether you want to use salt or not, you need to remove the shaker and find a place to install it.

So all right with the egg holder. It is made of durable plastic and has a small salt shaker. However, I assumed "399PK" was a typo for 3PK, meaning it's $12.27 for three. I was wrong, this is ONE egg carrier device! I looked at the other colors listed for $8.44 but didn't realize I paid an additional $3.83 for ONE ugly pink oospore transport device. Next time I'll just order as requested and pay $1 with $1 shipping.

The egg lovers in this house love it. Keeps the boiled egg in good condition, protects it from being crushed and has its own small salt container inside. Also retains the "egg" smell included in the breakfast set or tote bag. I love different colors. The only problem I have is that if the person who owns it is careless and just tosses it back in their dishes without drying out the container, the residual water left over after rinsing the eggshell is im Salt container lands and the salt spoils…

I love the convenience of having a hard boiled egg with salt for lunch. Two suggestions for future container customization.1. Fill/open the salt shaker from the top, not from the bottom. So you don't have to fill salt from above while filling it from below. Thought it would be obvious.2. The salt shaker clogs from the moisture in the egg. I think I'll have to wrap the top in plastic wrap to keep it dry. Maybe make a hinged lid to keep moisture out? I still like the whole idea - I used to carry…

I like this idea. I only left 1 star because the design needs some work. I put chilled hard boiled eggs in it to take to work. When I got to work I noticed condensation forming in the container and I was concerned that the salt and pepper might stick together.
