Everything but quite cheap. The mandrel has burrs, the calibration mandrel gauge is not accurate and the tube head broke after 3 uses. I will look elsewhere.

I didn't pay attention to the burrs on the steel rod until I had to remove the stuck ring from it. The protrusions can cause a bit of filing on the inside of the ring when pulling off a tight ring, but otherwise the mandrel works well.

The mandrel and gauge ring worked wonders on my first attempt at making coin rings. For starters, this is a good set to buy. The only drawback is the included cheap hammer. As others have said I would either drop it or use it for lighter work than metalworking. I bought a cheap nylon hammer from Harbor Freight and it seems like a good replacement for the hammer that came with this kit.

Very easy installation. Learning experience for me, I ruined the hammer without understanding what it was designed for, the ring mandrel is soft so using a metal hammer is not recommended, the finger size works great, as does the measuring tool, I use these tools all day. I hope to be able to work with carbides again. I bought a hammer specifically designed not to interfere with the working shaft. My hopes were to make metal rings for my miniature wagon wheels.
