Excellent hydration pack

Excellent lightweight hydration pack. Comfortable, padded hip clip and slim design. Some handy tips - trekking pole holder, use FOUR pieces = (elastic loop on top plus black band on bottom of backpack to keep it from dangling) twice. - Pipe Clip: Spin it! to adjust to your angle. - And small flaws (easy to fix): 1. The detachable outer pocket prevents you from swinging your arms when hiking, so it can be easily removed. And 2. The "hard grip" on the neck is annoying so I just cut it off…

cost $! Best in Cycling

Strangely the buckle was installed the wrong way around at the factory and I had to change it. Nothing special, but surprisingly the quality control didn't notice it. Otherwise it's comfortable and great for a bike as it sits high enough. I actually saw this at a biker's and ordered it 5 minutes later. Because it fits around the waist, it's comfortable for cross-country skiing, skijoring, and downhill skiing. Amazing value compared to the Osprey backpack and the rectangular compartment fits a…

Great for day hikes or mountaineering but needs some work

Great for day hikes or mountaineering but may need some improvement. keys as I keep pulling out my phone or wipes) 2) a way to prevent the backpack from sliding all the way down the waist belt 3) two zippers instead of one 4) please suggest colors other than black, I'd love some Cinch to tighten it where you want to wear it. For example, I prefer the side of the hips, but it always comes in the middle where the waistbelt is pinched, and I hate that when hiking! Having two zippers would allow me

Great value, great features

I initially just bought the Freemove reservoir and insulated mount to replace my old one. I put it in my old backpack and my partner told me I need to take something lighter. Well it seemed logical to try this as I thought it would be perfect for my water bladder and it was a great price. I've been on the same 8 mile hike with him so far and it's worked great. I could put everything I needed in it and it was comfortable and light. Even with my smaller stature, a narrower pack like this allows…

great features - READ UPDATE

I'm 48 years old (128 pounds) and this is a great size for me. It has pockets and room for pretty much everything EXCEPT a water bottle. Instead, it's set to "bubbles" for water. Lightweight and appears to be well made. I live in Hawaii where the air is very salty so we'll see if the zippers rust over time. I look forward to using it tomorrow. I agree with some reviews that the front strap seems to go right through my chest (not good for a woman). I've adjusted some of the shoulder straps to…

Detachable bag - overall pretty good for my needs

This review is for a bag, not a backpack. I have an old hiking/ski bag that I use as a climbing bag. I needed a small, easy-to-access bag for groceries and a phone when hiking in the mountains. With the new backpacks, these pockets are integrated into the hip belt, which is a great feature. I don't have this in my backpack so I needed an extra bag. It fits better than anything else I could find (other options seemed like tactical/military overkill). It's a little bigger than I need but I'm sure
