Great concept with reasonable design for the price.

Comes with a cleaning kit and an outer insulating sleeve to keep your liquids cool and protect your bag from potential punctures. The bladder is made of thin and thin plastic. I didn't like the connection between the drinking bladder and drinking tube. I'm afraid it might break one day. But. That's a more than fair price for it. So far this has worked well. I see it that way. Even if my bladder ever bursts, I still have an insulating bag and a pretty decent cleaning kit for less than $20 to use

Good quality reservoir!

Good quality reservoir, I've been using it for several weeks now and I can say it really helps me during the day. I keep it in my backpack and use the clips that come with it and if needed I can attach the clips to another backpack to really keep that part tidy. I recommend to others: If you plan on carrying it in your backpack, make sure you decide what you want. Since I wear my backpack all day and do sports, I fill it up all the way, but if I'm not planning too much, I only fill it to aboutโ€ฆ

Beautiful but do not disassemble to clean!

I used this reservoir on a desert hike. It held water and cooled it. However, when I took the hose apart to clean it, I found that the bite valve is made of soft rubber and doesn't go back into the hose! Once you take it off to clean it, that's it. It will never come back. I tried to squeeze but it's such a soft rubber that it doesn't climb back. Additionally, the bite valve rubber is located inside the bite valve cover, making reinstallation impossible. I could probably send the bite valveโ€ฆ

Excellent water system for recumbent and trike

Excellent quality, all parts of hydration system and maintenance kit are of good quality and available at a very competitive price. I bought it specifically for mounting on the backrest of a recumbent trike. After two 5-mile test rides, I have no complaints. At first I was disappointed that there was no bladder retention loop on the inside of the reservoir sleeve, but it turns out the sleeve is sized so that the bladder is well supported and doesn't flex in the sleeve. This hydrator is worth every penny! I'm so glad I read the reviews, did my research and decided to buy THIS product. This item really does the job! I have done several 6 mile hikes since purchase and the product is a real delight! The bladder keeps my water ice cold (with ice) in an insulated pouch, the bite works great as the water flows freely, the bladder is easy to fill with water and the flip top cap is great. The package has not expired! A note: if you want the water to flow out of theโ€ฆ
