I can't say enough about the good cleaning I get with this! I was happy with the brush I bought from Ulta until my sister said "I think the bristles aren't hard enough". Sigh, so I did some research and found that most people are very happy with this and I just HAVE to order it for myself. She was right. This is the most amazing leather brush ever! I have tried different brands of leather brushes and this is the best. I can actually see dead skin peeling off! I recommend this for those who regularly brush their skin with a softer brush. The brush strokes are shorter and stiffer, which I think makes the job better. I had to be very gentle at first because I used it like my previous softer ones and it scratched me at first! So start slowly and gently.

We had to search A LOT to find a vegan, eco-friendly, plastic-free drybrush that was affordable but worth the money. This Hydrea brush is made from the hard bristles of the Mexican Tampico cactus and FSC-certified beech. This requires a gentle touch on more sensitive skin due to the stiffness of the bristles, but is by no means uncomfortable or painful.

After briefly sharing a "hard" brush a few years ago, I've since thought about getting my own. I've had luck with this, luckily it's perfect, now I need another one with a long handle. I actually use it as a wet brush in the shower. Works great, cactus makes perfect hard bristles. The construction seems solid enough. It looks like it's scratching your skin, but it's actually the best exfoliating ingredient, and it feels amazing - it seems to wake up, really revitalize, your skin.

Perfect! I was looking for an inexpensive, extremely coarse drybrush (they wear and soften over time, so the coarser the better), a boar-free brush (this is cruel and I've heard they can get VERY smelly, ugh! ) . This brush is exactly what I was looking for and it was a lot cheaper than other cactus brushes! This is VERY good quality and workmanship from London. I can't recommend it enough! The only thing I would change is that the strap is too loose for my small hands, but I understand it fits
