I really can't tell the difference between "filtered" water and tap water. It tastes awful and totally incomparable to Brita or Zero etc. I just use it as a water pitcher and pour in already filtered water. It's wrong to spend. Out of. Money. Pooh!

I do not recommend this water filter jug. The pitcher is filtered and filled very slowly. If the tap water flows too quickly during filtering, it overflows and ends up in the jug unfiltered. Nicely shaped jug but not suitable for filtering water

My wife and I used to have a different brand water filter but this one beats it (no pun intended)! We love the taste and the quick fill feature. The filter lasts a long time, and if you follow the instructions, the water will be filtered very quickly. I will not return to other brands! :)

Carafe leaking. It's a slow leak that went unnoticed at first. But after sitting in the fridge all night, my fridge easily had 2-3 ounces of water. what a mess. The place where it leaked is the part where the clear acrylic part connects to the gray base. it is not cracked or broken. only bad QC. do not buy this product.

Water tastes unfiltered and just like the chlorine in my tap water (in Knoxville, Tennessee). I had to keep the packaging so I could send it back. I used to love my Mavea water filter but now it's not working. I threw this Hydros filter in the trash and returned the extra filters I bought separately from Amazon. Now I am very satisfied with the purchased Brita filter.

Like some of the other reviewers I had problems with this pitcher from the start. I liked the size, shape, and smaller filter and speed, but there's a bad design flaw in the base. As this is a 2 piece plastic base meeting a clear plastic lid/jug the seam leaked immediately. I put it in my fridge to find water everywhere in the morning. So unfortunately I had to go back. I liked everything else, but if these are leaks, what's the point?

I really don't know why there are so many bad reviews on this product. My roommate and I have been using it for almost a week now and we love it. I was skeptical about the water leak so we put it on a plate in the fridge for the first 24 hours in case we need to replace it but we had no problems. The product is exactly as described - even better to be honest; It's fast, tastes good and has an eco-friendly filter. Much better than any Brita I've ever had.

This water jug is great: it's compact, very cute, easy to use and it really filters water much faster than other water filtration systems. My only problem is that the water tastes weird. I don't know if this is due to the type of filter installed (it's the one that came with the water jug) but my tap water has no taste, but the water after going through the filter doesn't taste good. I followed all the preparatory steps according to the instructions and yet this was the result. I will continue…
