Now I need to buy a reversible plug adapter to easily plug into each of my sinks. Comes with all other adapters except the actual connection to the sink for a water change...1 piece that fits into the faucet but there is nothing that fits the other end so it's useless and I wasted my money. Do not buy metal adapters for water changes.

I had to order this part to replace the part that was breaking once a week on a tank after only nine months of use - the part that connects to the faucet, just broke off. I also had to replace the adapter with a metal adapter from the hardware store because the original adapter leaks a lot. Plenty of room to improve on this design. They need to start making durable things, not siphon money from us. Pun.

This works, I used it to connect to a 1/2"ID 5/8"OD hose I already had. I was able to connect it to my faucet and suck the water out of the tank. But I had to leave the sink on full blast to empty the tub. Plastic connectors are inexpensive. It's probably better to switch to metal for a few bucks more. I'm giving it 4 stars because I had to leave my sink on full blast to pump the water out of my tub. Keep water out for a long time in a 75 gallon tank. So I probably won't use it.
