Hynix 8GB 💾 DDR4-2400 SODIMM Memory Module (HMA81GS6AFR8N-UH) Review

The memory came in a regular yellow envelope with bubble wrap. The memory was in an anti-static bag, not a hard case. Therefore, the packaging may be easily deformed during transportation. I thought I bought a new one, but I couldn't tell if the memory was really new or used when I first saw the memory. The good news is that memory is now working fine.

I recently bought a refurbished Thinkpad T470 with a stick of 8GB Hynix DDR4-2400 memory and one free slot. I found this at Revain and ordered it because it fits my existing racquet and lo and behold it fits *perfectly* except for the model number. It went through advanced onboard diagnostics and now my Thinkpad is humming along with 16GB of dual channel memory.

Bought to add another slot on my laptop. Existing RAM was 8GB so bought another 8GB. Was looking for the same specs, this one was accurate and worked! Read that some users complained that it was made in Korea since the original RAM my HP laptop came with was made in China. The only risky moment was disassembling the laptop. RAM was put in immediately, loaded and doubled RAM - it has two slots, one slot had the same flash drive. Again, assembly was a bit risky, but take your time, the memory worked exactly as advertised. I've had trouble mixing memory cards before, so buying the exact same memory card cost an extra $4-5. This RAM is exactly the same as the 8GB ddr4 in my Alienware. I bought from A-Tech and it was Hynix China not Korea but don't worry the RAM in my Alienware was also Hynix China so the country doesn't matter just make sure the model and specs are the same .
