Works well enough for storage

I used this to upgrade an old Acer Aspire XC-703 that I inherited just for masturbation. It's DDR3 memory, not that big or fast, so obviously you're not going to put it in a high-end system, but it's the one that comes with the XC-703 and I'm surprised it's so light was available.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good RAM module for NAS drives etc.

I have this module with another Hynix 4GB RAM module, total 8GB for my QNAP TS-253A NAS and it (NAS) works like clockwork. I've had no problems and would recommend this one (or two if you're trying to push something) to anyone who needs a RAM module. These modules are used as OEM modules in laptops, so they are much more reliable than other third-party RAM modules. .

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Something is wrong

This works great with my Dell i3558 laptop

This works great with my Dell i3558 laptop. It's the same original part number, so it was possible to go from 4GB single channel to 8GB dual channel RAM. It takes a bit of effort to open the Dell 15-3558, but the memory fits right into the .

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Can I add something

Ideal for OEM Hynix Dell Precision/Lattitude modules with DDR3

Perfect match with OEM Hynix modules for existing SO-DIMMs in Dell Precision/Lattitude modules with DDR3 like Precision M4600-4800 and Latitude E7240-7250- Series. Only the week of manufacture was different (which is to be expected), all other numbers are the same.

Pros
  • glossy
Cons
  • Useless features

Exactly What I Needed: Computers and Accessories

Just what I needed to double the RAM on an old laptop. 8GB vs 4GB RAM is a big difference. Definitely worth an upgrade for a great price.

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • No Insurance
