💾 Hynix 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz Unbuffered DIMM: Reliable Non-ECC CL11 Memory Module Review

I had an HP part number from my installed memory, but I also found a Hynix number that matches this memory perfectly ( HMT351U6CFR8C). Is it important? Only if the specifications are not the same as those confirmed with the CPU-Z utility. In addition, SK Hynix is one of the best memory manufacturers in the world.

Rebuilt my oldest son's computer with an old used ASUS G41 chipset board. I've tried two other boards and three different supposedly compatible DIMMS memory with no success. In combination with the ASUS board, it worked right away. My son noticed a noticeable difference in speed/responsiveness between the board and this memory.

My 12 year old unpacked it and installed it on his computer without my help. Rebooting took about five minutes to boot up while the system was reconfigured (the computer was six years old and cheap at the time). But now the computer is *blindly* fast for Minecraft Skyblocks (or whatever it's called) - faster than its friends. It keeps telling me how great it is now with 8GB RAM instead of the 4GB it used to be. It's been two months and he's still excited.

I've run 8GB of this RAM on several Dell Optiplex. Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Quads. Works perfect. Yes, it costs $$ Lots of RAM makes old machines sit and sing. Replace the gauge with a small, inexpensive SSD and the machine sings AND dances. Disclosure: All my machines are connected to a 1GB wired network connected to two 8TB RAIDs. Along with 300MB/s cloud storage. So storage is not a problem. JMMV ;)

My computer got VERY slow after a few years. It originally came with 4GB of RAM. Browsers now occupy almost 1 GB! so it goes without saying that I'm outdated. I opened my suitcase, wrote down the part number and how do you know Amazon had it! The PC is lightning fast now as I bought 3 extra to fill each slot and the arch has 16GB RAM. Perfect for what I do. Couldn't beat the price.

I was looking for storage for my old Pavilion upgraded from Win 7 to 10. Imagine my surprise when I found the exact same modules that were already in my computer and at a great price! I saved almost half the storage I was considering. Thank you Reven

I bought this RAM card because it was the same make and model as the one that came with my PC. I bought it to fill the last RAM slot and it halved the boot time.

This worked great in the HP Compaq Elite 8000, a system that is notoriously picky about the brands of memory it accepts. I've run the system 24/7 for weeks with no issues, so I know this memory must be of good quality.
