Not the strongest connection

The hub generally works and looks good but after about 2 months of use the biggest problem I had was that the connection isn't very sure. This applies both to the direct connection of the hub to the computer and to the use of the supplied extension cables. If the hub collides or you move your laptop, there's a good chance the port will lose power. This is especially problematic when using an external hard drive as the hard drive can suddenly disconnect at any time. As far as I can tell thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Good functionality/portability but design flaws

Magnetic grip prevents the hub from turning on on my 16" MacBook Pro. In my picture you can see the display is off. The extension cord doesn't fit in the case, when the hub is in it would help if this case was a bit bigger so all the accessories can be packed together, otherwise solid build and functionality.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Volume

Doesn't fit 16 " MacBook Pro

The magnetic part is supposed to hold the dock in place but it doesn't work at all. The magnetic part is not wide enough to fit into the 16-inch -To fit MBP cases so the USB ports don't fully plug in and it just doesn't work Wouldn't recommend at all

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some issues

Great reviews on hyper site but not worth the hype

I bought one of these last July and it works today (14th. It took forever to I came here (for starters), the shipping info wasn't accurate (the item was shown out of stock in 1 day but it actually didn't leave until 4 days later when I asked them questions) Save about $100 and buy a competitor that costs 1/3 to 1/2 less.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it everything is fine

I bought one of these last July and today (May 14th 2021) it stopped working. It took forever to get here (for starters), the shipping info wasn't accurate (the item was shown out of stock in 1 day but it actually didn't leave until 4 days later when I asked them questions). Pros

Cons
  • Needs an outlet

Good functionality/portability but lacks design

Magnetic grip prevents the hub from turning on on my 16" MacBook Pro. In my photo you can see the display is off. The grip and extension fit not in the case when the hub is there. It would help if this case was a bit larger so you can fold all the accessories. Otherwise solid build and function.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Some small things

But works fine.

Works perfectly. The new MacBook Pro M1 is light and compact and has all the ports you need. BUT. It really needs a gigabit ethernet port, and there isn't one. If you try to use the version that has it, you'll lose the SD port. It sucks because photographers have to choose between the convenience of uploading photos from your SD card and the convenience of uploading images to your cloud. You don't have an option that allows both.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

The best MacBook Pro external hub ever

Excellent hub. I've had that for a long time. I use it all the time to connect a mouse, keyboard and external hard drive to my MacBook Pro 2019. It's fast and smooth. I only use an external cable because it's a bit far from my Mac, so it's harder for me to accidentally hit it since my Mac is on an object that tilts it. Would 100 percent recommend if you need to do a lot of things at the same time. Just note that sometimes it can get a bit warm if you use all the slots at the same timeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • that even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Exchange availability
