Hyperkin Alphastar Nintendo Compatible Wireless Controllers Review

It works exactly as you would expect: plug in switch, press button, sync controller, BOOM. Very easy to set up and now I can use my favorite controllers without having to buy another $70 professional controller!

Connected and tested PS4 and PS5 controllers, used and new controllers straight out of the box - they all had severe key travel and lag that I couldn't fix. I contacted support and received no response. 3 days waiting time and invoice. Would be a great product if it worked.

Doesn't work and after trying it I'm out of the return window. It doesn't connect to the PS5 or Xbox controller, don't waste your money like me. Run run run away from this horrible product. Think about it, if it worked, there wouldn't be any Mad Catz or third parties in all of this. Stupid move on my part and Revane won't help. Learn from my mistake and save your money!

I have two different PS5 controllers to pair with both adapters I bought and I had no problem setting them up. Played Doom and didn't notice any key lag. The problem is that I wanted to connect a pro controller, a PS5 controller and an Xbox controller at the same time, but unless I buy a multi-USB dongle I can only use one adapter on my dock. Hyperkin seems to be its own worst enemy. I finally found a solution for wireless controllers - their own Bluetooth adapter, the AlphaStar BT adapter. I first found a picture of a Bluetooth adapter in the Retron Sq's USB port on the Hyperkin website. After some research I found (on their website and Revain) that they now listed the AlphaStar BT adapter as being compatible with Retron Sq with their own Scout and other bluetooth controllers.
