Very happy with this clip, I have a shelf that is over 2 inches thick and I was concerned but it holds up great with the Vive sensor. As mentioned in other reviews, the plastic smells when held. nose but from a distance it wasn't noticeable (especially since they usually go in the corners) and after a few days the smell was gone and I was left with just a great clip at a great price.

Seriously, if you're a traveling VR gamer like me, you can't screw light box mounts on just about anywhere. Tripods are impractical and take up a lot of space in your play area. These boys stay out of your way and can be strapped on to maximize play. They are also quite high quality. I'm still using mine after 2 years. The star has only been lost due to the ball joint sometimes jamming in it, but that may be due to age

I bought 2 but ended up using only one (no problem with the product where I wanted to place it, it was too thick to pinch). I mounted one on a cabinet and after he clamped it down and tightened the screws, the base doesn't even move! If you have things that can be fixed, it's definitely worth picking up instead of wall mounts or coasters. Just remember that it's 1 in each case. So if you want them for both base stations you need to order 2.

The Oculus Rift sensors fit nicely on the threaded part. The ball and base have an adjustable thumb swivel to facilitate both angle adjustment and position locking. Got 3 of these pups for my base stations after seeing the reviews from them + an IRL friend got them too and shared his experience. Pros: - Great price - Compact mounting solution that doesn't take up much space or require holes in your walls. - Reliable quality parts and springs. Plenty of room for base station legs or a wall-to-wall mount that can't be drilled. One of mine is actually stuck with some command line hooks! Ghetto, but it works very well!
