The color is too white, the slightest variation when switching on

The color is advertised as 3000K, I would say it is significantly whiter than other lamps at 2700K and 3000K. I would put it closer to 3300K or so. This isn't a big problem unless you have other bulbs that no longer fit. Has a slight variability on cold starts. When I look at the bulb, it immediately lights up at full power. But when I look at the sink, my eyes notice a slight flicker as the color turns "orange" for a millisecond before turning completely light. I don't mind their return, but…

Excellent quality, brighter than expected, no problems so far, even with the weather.

Best price I could find to replace all those clumsy/inefficient old PAR38 incandescent/halogen floodlights in the home. Brighter than I expected from 10 watts but I guess that's the point of parabolic reflectors in PAR lights! At first I installed low ones, mostly under overhangs, but some got stuck in the rain. No signs of problems so I fully extended my 22ft extension ladder and installed a pair above the garage/driveway. It's amazing that you can turn on the outside lights when you need them

Perfect spotlight for my kitchen.

At first I didn't think these bulbs would do well for recessed lighting in my kitchen, but then I discovered that the depth of the recesses can be adjusted to fit any PAR30 bulb. I installed these bulbs with no problem and they look perfect in fixtures. I wanted to use spotlights with a 40 or 45 degree beam angle instead of spotlights and these fixtures were perfect for that. At 750 lumens, these bulbs aren't TOO bright (I tried a few 900 lumen bulbs and they were too bright for my liking), but
