Good price but doesn't really pass the "chop " test

Positives first: the pillow is a good price. Unfortunately, it is a little stiffer than I was wanting. I wanted something that mimicked down pillows where you can give them a good chop in the middle. This pillow doesn't really do that. It may have something to do with the size (it's a 14x22) so the larger sizes may be better for that. All in all though, it's fine for the pillow I bought but I don't think I would purchase in a larger size because of this issue.

  • Just not as stuffed as I would have thought. Felt a little flat in the fill department.

Poor customer service

The one-star rating is for Moon Rest's customer service. I purchased a set of 24-inch inserts and a set of 22-inch inserts. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The 22-inch set works in my pillow covers and the product is nicely made with a very soft feel. All good. The 24-inch pillows came in two shrink wrapped plastic bags. I opened one bag, took out the pillow and realized it was too large for my other pillow cases. I put the pillow back in the plastic bag and along with the other…

Firm. Great as replacement sofa inserts!

Nice and firm. I ordered for replacement for actual sofa back pillows. They are firm enough to hold up well and look nice, not messy

Great pillow inserts

The pillow insert fit perfectly. I ordered the size recommended and the insert fills it as described. It has the soft feel of down. I will use these inserts again.

These pillow inserts are true to size but are somewhat flat. If you are looking for a full pillow insert this one isn’t for you.

Perfect for couch cushion

Our new couch has back loose pillows. My son completely warped one of them b/c of the way he sits on the couch. The filler can't be remolded so I tried this insert. It's perfect. Gets scrunched up but then you can fluff right back up. I'll order more as needed for the other cushions. I bought 2 inches bigger than the cover size and it's perfect

Not hard, but not too soft

I had to order these because I ordered what I thought were throw pillows only to find they were pillow COVERS. These pillow inserts fit the 17 inch square covers I ordered (but the tag said the covers were 18 inch, WRONG!). The pillows are pretty comfy for laying on a couch. Also comfy if you want to stuff one on either side of you in a recliner. The pillows are filled with fiberfill. Not hard, but not too soft. Works for my couch! Photo includes the covers I previously ordered. Little pricey…

Love these. They're perfect!

I bought pillow inserts from two different companies in order to find the sizes I needed. Couldn't believe how different they were! These are very soft, but have the weight and "heft" of a down pillow. The other guys' filling was too airy and insubstantial, leaving the pillow underfilled and puny. Nice quality and very soft

I purchased this as a decorative pillow to cover with knitted panels. It is a bit too big for my intended project but the pillow is very soft and feels like very good quality materials.

Not worth it: my feedback

Agree with other customers that packaging is terrible. They squeeze 2 pillows into an envelope way to small. These pillows are not at all full, so I have to purchase smaller covers to make them look full. Very disappointing for the price. I also sent a few messages to the company and they never responded.

Throw Pillow - my new review

Pillow was very flat when received; took it out of the wrapping and next morning it was fluffed up. Fit perfectly into the sham I had bought it for.

Like the pillow but comes with no product packaging

I like the way the pillow stuffing feels. It's kind of weighty and has a slight memory foam squish but much softer and looser. What I don't like is there is no packaging at all so it seems unsanitary. I even returned the first one because it had a small smudge on it and I thought it had been previously unsealed and returned. Replacement arrived also with no packaging though. I ended up just spraying it with antibacterial spray but this is not ideal.

Too soft if you’d like it to hold its shape.

It’s a decorative pillow but never the less felt it was too soft it doesn’t hold the shape I would have hoped for. I don’t like to hassle with returning things so, I kept it. But keeping this in mind should another opportunity arise. Not sure how exact 17x17 is either. It’s didn’t fill the cover I purchased.

Hard-to-find size for my opinion

I bought 12x20 pillow covers with same size inserts. The inserts did not fill out the covers. So glad I found the 14x22 inserts, thinking this size is not too common.
