Not for all models.

I bought it for a VW Jetta 1.4 TSI MK6. And it didn't fit. I'm not sure what will happen with other models. It is too beveled to match the carving.

The VW DSG/DCT Transmission Oil Change Tool is crucial for topping up the transmission.

VW DSG Transmission Fill Tool (DCT) - Required to fill the transmission from the lower drain plug to the correct level of the dipstick tube. I used an electric oil change pump (which I also recently checked) to pump fresh new gear oil into the transmission. This combination worked great and significantly reduced the time to change the transmission oil and filter.
