I hate the fact that the new MacBook doesn't have USB ports, but ok we have these little gimmicks that get the job done. A beautiful silver gray color to match the laptop and a sleek Apple style design. Definitely recommended for new series MacBook users. This hub works well with my Windows, Chrome OS and Android devices with USB-C ports All the negative reviews seem to come from Apple so it must be these devices just don't work. It even works with USB-powered external hard drives. I even have a Chromebook to work with this hub AND a self powered external USB hard drive, great! It gets a little warm, but not that bad.

When I first received the product, I didn't expect the cable to be so thick. The bang for your buck you get from this is great and I'm glad I bought it as I use my iPad Pro every day and needed a way to use traditional USBs. What I didn't know is that the USB-C port on the dongle can easily charge my iPad too! With this new key, I no longer have to worry about buying an expensive one from Apple's website.
