Outdated guideline in HVAC

It doesn't get one star for the product but for the return policy. At this point which company is still setting restocking and at this point "there will be a 20% - 50% fee" just based on that I will never buy anything from them again in the future.

Pros
  • Easy installation indoors/outdoors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

best surge protector

I have this one as it looks a lot bigger and better than the Supco I had which was recalled. I gave this one 5 stars as it has 3 monitoring LEDs instead of none! It's one of those things that you have to trust to work. don't worry about the warranty. No one actually guarantees electrical parts. The best thing you can do is get the best.

Pros
  • 100,000 amp, 1020 joules protection
Cons
  • Not sure

Probably works fine but I disagree with the installation guide

The surge protector itself appears to be well built and will probably work well should a surge occur, although there's no real way to tell. But I have a problem with the installation instructions provided, and in fact almost every video or guide you can see on the internet for adding surge protection to an AC cutoff. They will almost always tell you to connect the surge protection wires to the same spade terminal as the AC line is connected to - please don't do this unless your circuit breaker…

Pros
  • Single phase surge protector
Cons
  • Very expensive unit
